Danan River Mouth is a small canyon with a deep pool at the confluence of Danan and Lijia River. It's forming because the cliff to the north is rapidly sliding down the mountain, and into the river, narrowing the canyon every year. This process has accelerated since Typhoon Soudelor in 2015. Making the canyon a few meters narrower and deeper than it was 15 years ago. Now the pool is over 4 meters deep, making it a great place for swimming and diving.
